Event Description
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) National Diabetes Prevention Program is a lifestyle change program for preventing type 2 diabetes.
It can help people cut their risk of developing type 2 diabetes in half.
This is a FREE program to participants that commit to work with a lifestyle coach in a group setting for 16 weekly sessions, followed by 6 monthly post-core sessions.
Classes led by RNs, Dietitians, and Personal Trainers.
Find out if you qualify by answering these questions:
Are you overweight?
Do you have a parent with diabetes?
Do you have a sister or brother with diabetes?
Are you 45 years or older?
If you are a woman, did your baby weigh more than 9 pounds at birth?

The cost of the event is free, but you must qualify for the program by having pre-diabetes. You must also commit to all/most of the 16 weekly sessions. Tuesdays at 5 pm at RWC.
